Our Neighborhood Children Deserve Better / help save our neighborhood school

Neighborhood grade schools slated for demolition in Meridian Kessler, Christian Park, and Irvington have been given a second chance. IPS has agreed to consider renovation in all three of these neighborhoods. The children and residents of the near eastside deserve no less.


The oldest continuously used school in Indiana, Myers Elementary School in Cannelton. This 132-year-old building boasts 21st century technology upgrades and students who routinely place high in web site competitions.
