Welcome to the RICHISON/RICHESON Research Web site.

I have come to the conclusion that your surname can be RICHISON or RICHESON based upon your own preference as the records are so jumbled with different spellings, that is is almost impossible to say if one or the other is correct. Even among members of the same immediate family, some will spell it RICHISON while others use RICHESON. And census takers and clerks took even more liberties. One census record I found recently had the name indexed as RICHMO!

This website is a work in progress and I add to it as time and information becomes available. The accuracy of the data cannot be guaranteed so please verify data before accepting it as fact.  The family lines I have compiled are to be used as a guide only, but I would be happy to share my sources with you when  discrepancies occur.
